At Next Topper (operated by Inition Technology LLP), we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. We keep this simple and honest — we only collect what we need to run the platform.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to parents who register and use Next Topper, and to the children whose accounts are created and managed by those parents. Children do not register directly — their accounts are created by their parent.

2. Information We Collect from Parents

When you register as a parent, we collect:

  • Full name — to personalise your account
  • Email address — for login, email confirmation, and transactional emails
  • Phone number — for account identification and support
  • Password — stored securely using industry-standard hashing (never stored in plain text)

When you make a purchase, we also collect:

  • Payment transaction ID — provided by PayU after a successful payment
  • Amount paid — for your purchase records and invoices

We do not store your card number, CVV, or any payment credentials. All payments are processed securely by PayU, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

3. Information We Collect from Children

We collect the minimum possible information about children:

  • First and last name — set by the parent when creating the child's profile
  • Username and password — set by the parent, used for the child's login
  • Exam attempts and scores — recorded when the child takes an exam

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information from children. Children's accounts are fully managed by their parent.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Send email confirmation and password reset emails
  • Process payments and generate invoices
  • Send purchase confirmation and exam completion notifications
  • Provide customer support when you contact us
  • Show exam results and progress to parents and children

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running the Next Topper platform.

5. Emails We Send

We only send emails that are directly related to your use of the platform:

  • Email address confirmation when you register
  • Password reset links when requested
  • Purchase confirmation with invoice details
  • Exam completion summary for your child
  • Replies to support queries you submit

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters unless you explicitly opt in (which we currently do not offer).

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use:

  • Encrypted HTTPS connections for all data in transit
  • Hashed passwords — we cannot see your password
  • Role-based access controls — only authorised staff can access admin functions
7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
